SNA History Archives Featured at Atlanta History Center's Cherokee Garden Library
As part of the SNA's 100-year anniversary in 1999, the association established an archive at the Cherokee Garden Library, located at the Atlanta History Center. Minutes, financial statements, receipts, membership lists, necrology reports, convention and trade show programs, and photographs were included in this collection.
The Cherokee Garden Library's Director, Staci Catron, said, "the Library is very much focused on the history of southern gardens and having the archives of the SNA as part of our collections is a very important piece to our Library."
In 2022, after ceasing operation, more records, publications, and photos were added to the collection. All documents are located at the James G. Kenen Research Center within the Cherokee Garden Library housed at the Atlanta History Center. Documents are listed online and can be viewed at the research center.
