SNA Member Advantage Program
SNA members can save on car rental prices with Hertz and Avis and marketing solutions with Altair Data Resources. In addition, SNA will be paid a percentage of the revenue. So, members can save on their expenses while supporting their professional trade association!

SNA Member-2-Member Program
In addition to the many discounts available to you through the SNA Member Advantage Program, the SNA Member-2-Member Program offers savings on other members’ products and services.

You can take advantage of this invaluable program in two ways:
• As a participating seller offering discounts to other members
• As a participating buyer receiving the discounts offered by other members

You do not have to offer savings to take advantage of other members’ discounts.

If you wish to participate in this program, please fill out the Member-2-Member Form, and mail or fax it back to the SNA Office. SNA Buyer’s Guide on CD
Many industry professionals use this CD publication to find SNA members who carry products and services to fit their needs. Over 10,000 firms are listed on the CD SNA Buyer's Guide, but only SNA members receive the benefit of having their product and service codes listed. One copy of the SNA Buyer's Guide on CD is FREE to all SNA Members. You can order additional copies of the SNA Buyer's Guide by downloading and returning the completed SNA Product Order Form to the SNA office.

SNA Trade Show Directory
Browse through the listings of over 500 exhibiting firms and the products and services that they provide. This unique publication will help you locate that hard-to-find item. SNA Research Conference Proceedings
One copy of the Annual SNA Research Conference Proceedings on CD is automatically mailed to each SNA member and to all contributing authors / researchers. Additional copies can be purchased at the prices indicated on the SNA Product Order Form. Note: The 2006 Proceedings are available online and the 1990-2006 CD-Rom will be available soon!

Don't forget that you can streamline your search for topics that interest you with the SNA Research Conference Proceedings Titles list. Thousands of papers are indexed from 1974-2006 and includes the name of each paper, in what year it was published and the name of the contributing authors

SNA CareerLine
Employers and employees can share job information – including jobs wanted and jobs available – on the SNA website, in the SNA eNewsLine and on-site at the SNA Trade Show on the CareerLine Bulletin Board. Please return the CareerLine Bulletin Board form in a 9 x 12 envelope – do not fold or fax the SNA CareerLine Form when returning it.

This online version of the SNA NewsLine covers up-to-date SNA information helpful to members and exhibitors. As this product is further developed, it will include new member services, trade show details and much more. Committees and Awards
SNA committees help develop and organize the annual SNA trade show as well as educational and social activities. Industry members who work to advance and strengthen the industry are acknowledged by these committees through award recognition. Awards are presented at the Past Presidents' Awards Gala.

Education

TechShop Educational Series
The TecShop Educational Series provides quality education for the horticulture professional at an affordable price. This annual educational event is held one day before the annual SNA Trade Show. These educational seminars are designed and presented by top industry professionals who reveal the latest in plants, sales, management and technical certification. More information will be available spring of 2007.

The Annual SNA Research Conference
Sharing the latest horticultural advances discovered through research, industry researchers present their latest discoveries at this two-day Research Conference which is held in conjunction with the SNA Trade Show. Each presentation is then published in the SNA Research Conference Proceedings. Everything from the use of specific fertilizers to marketing techniques to water management tools are discovered and uncovered through scientific studies and published for industry professionals.

Southern Plant Conference
This biennial conference, designed to increase communications of new plant varieties and decrease the average time needed to bring them to the market, provides a unique learning environment full of straight talk and factual information. The 2007 Southern Plant Conference will be produced by SNA in cooperation with the Alabama Nursery & Landscape Association.

Sidney B. Meadows Scholarship Endowment Fund
SNA needs the help of industry members to support education in the industry. Fourteen $2,500 awards were presented at SNA 2006 totaling $35,000 in scholarships. A total of $384,000 has now been awarded in scholarships by the Endowment since it was established in 1989. International Exposure

The Internationale Pflanzen Messe (IPM / International Plant Fair-Essen) and SNA
SNA and IPM have developed a partnership program to cooperatively promote their events and their industry. Each trade show has developed cooperative advertising programs and attendee, exhibitor and official exchanges. With the development of a joint logo and theme, IPM and SNA are providing a forum for their respective industry members to expand their products internationally at each trade fair.

The IPM show, located in Germany’s biggest horticultural region, Essen, attracts over 1,300 exhibitors from 40 countries, covers 16 halls (1.1million sq. ft.) and is attended by over 60,000 trade visitors. IPM 2008 will be held January 24-27, in Essen,Germany.

Best Management Practices Guide for Producing Container-Grown Plants
