Staff Members

Since 1899, the SNA has enjoyed the support of many of the industry's finest members as leaders as well as many hard-working volunteers. The first paid part-time Executive Secretary was Leo Scott, who was hired in 1951. Porter Henegar served as Executive Secretary from 1959 through 1965. He retired in 1971, and his son Tommy Henegar took the reigns until 1988 when he retired. Danny Summers served as SNA's Executive Vice President until November, 2006. In April 2007, Steve Newton joined the SNA family as Executive Vice President.

Today's SNA Staff is here to serve its members and the horticultural industry. We are constantly striving to provide the services you not only expect – but deserve. We are committed to providing timely, cost-effective products and information; caring for each request or order as if it were our own; charging a fair price for value delivered; creating long-standing relationships and using our talents and resources to better the industry in which we work.

If you don't find what you are looking for, please ask us. We will do everything possible to "make it happen." We are continually adding to our website to make more SNA and industry infomation accessible. We solicit your comments and input on what this association is doing and how we can better serve you!
