Through the years, SNA Awards became coveted and an honor to receive. Industry members who demonstrated their commitment to the Southern Nursery Association and the industry were recognized for their distinguished talents, extraordinary service, and life achievements through this annual awards program.

SNA Honorary Member Awards
The most prestigious of all SNA awards was the Slater Wight Memorial Award. This lifetime achievement award was given to the person who, in the opinion of the SNA Board, had contributed most to the advancement of the industry in the South and to the welfare of the Southern Nursery Association. The silver Slater Wight Memorial Award bowl is engraved with the names of each of the 65 people honored with this prestigious award.
